Thackeray govt's big decision: save money from employees' salary, know who gets paid

Also, the state government has made another important decision and has decided to cut the salaries of all the representatives from the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, all members of the Legislature as well as members of the local Swaraj institutions by 60 per cent.
Know who gets paid -
As per the decision taken by the Government, the salaries will be paid in all phases in March and April for all elected representatives as well as all officers and staff of all the aided institutions including Government / semi-government / universities.

- Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, All Ministers, Chairperson, Deputy Speaker, Legislative Council Chairman, Vice President, Leader of the Legislative Assembly and Opposition of the Legislative Assembly, all Assembly and Legislative Council members, office bearers of all corporations, office bearers of elected local bodies and elected representatives will be paid 40 percent salary.
- Group A and Group B employees will be given 5 percent and Group A employees will be given 5 percent salary. Only Group 'D' employees will receive a full 8% salary.





The government has taken this decision after discussing with representatives of state government officials and employees' associations, ”the Deputy Chief Minister said. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the decision was taken in view of the decline in the state's financial income due to the 'Corona crisis' and 'avoidance' as well as to strengthen the fight against 'Corona'.Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed confidence that the chairmen, office bearers, members of all the legislatures of the legislature as well as all the local self-government organizations in the state will cooperate with the decision.
