NEW DELHI: Donations are coming in for a fight over the coronary epidemic that sweeps the world. Wipro Limited, Wipro Enterprises and Azeem Premji Foundation have come forward to provide a total of Rs 1,125 crore to help people's health and the humanitarian crisis from the covid-19 pandemic. Total Wipro has donated Rs 100 crore, Wipro Enterprises Rs 25 crore and Azeem Premji Foundation donated Rs 1000 crore to the charity, the company's spokesperson said in a statement.
Representatives said the donation was announced in addition to the Wipro Annual..Company Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund, and that the Foundation would make an additional donation to the Foundation regardless of general philanthropic expenses.Wipro Founder Azim Premji spends most of his earnings on charitable causes.
